Nearly one-third of Americans are obese. Almost twenty million Americans have been diagnosed with diabetes while an estimated ten to fifteen million have the disease but have yet to be diagnosed. Between eighty-five to ninety percent of Americans will suffer from back pain at some point in their lives. And finally, one of the saddest statistics: eight out of the nine leading causes of death in the United States can be prevented by lifestyle modifications.
We do not believe this was the image God had in mind. It was this image, a life-long love of exercise and our faith in Christ that led us to found Trinity Fitness. Our mission is to show our clients a better way of life: one that includes regular exercise and healthy eating habits.

David Scott, President and Co-Owner

Dave Scott has been working as a certified personal trainer since 1997. He has held certifications from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a Personal Trainer, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Performance Enhancement Specialist. Dave graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a degree in Kinesiology. While at U.M.C.P he completed an internship with the strength and conditioning program. This gave Dave the opportunity to work with track and field athletes, baseball players, wrestlers and gymnasts. In his thirteen years as a personal trainer Dave has worked with clients from the ages of nine to eighty years and everything in between.

Katherine Scott, Co-Owner

Katherine Scott earned a degree in Nutrition from Virginia Tech. Her work in the nutrition field has focused mainly in the fitness and wellness realm. In addition to nutrition she also has a great interest in exercise and has worked as a personal trainer with Dave. She has held certifications from the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer and her holistic view of nutrition blends well with the functional exercise approach of Trinity Fitness.
