What Makes Trinity Fitness Different?
|
There are many fitness solutions available to the consumer today. Trinity Fitness is set apart from the rest by three things. The first of which is our philosophy which states that in order for an exercise program to be complete you must address the three components of fitness: flexibility, endurance, and strength. Without attention to all three, an exercise program is incomplete. Our philosophy also states that the real reason for exercise is not for aesthetic benefits, but for overall health. While the aesthetic is nice, flatter abs, less body fat, and more muscle for instance, a healthier body enhances your ability to pursue God's purpose for you in this world.
The second thing that sets Trinity Fitness apart is our environment. We currently train in a private studio setting at New Life Church in LaPlata Maryland. This private environment allows a workout in which the client does not have to exercise in a gym full of 30-50 other people as he/she might in a health club. This means no waiting for equipment and no loud grunting gym members.
Finally the last piece that sets Trinity Fitness apart from the rest is our commitment to functional training and the unique equipment we use. While we use stability balls, exercise bands, dumbbells, medicine balls and various balance equipment, at the core of many of our programs is the kettle bell. The kettle bell is a unique piece of resistance training equipment that forces the body to account for momentum. In most traditional resistance programs we are taught that momentum is bad. The problem is that we encounter momentum everyday in real life. Kettle bells help to condition us to deal with that.
